Hesket Parish Council carries out its’ annual audit according to the specifications laid out in The Local Audit (Smaller Authorities) Regulations 2015. Due to covid-19 restrictions, the regulations have been amended to allow the deadline for audit in this tax year to be extended to July 31st 2020. Hesket Parish Council approved the 2019-2020 accounts at its Annual Parish Council Meeting, which was held remotely on July 14th 2020.
